Apple picking/Pumpkin "Patching"

On Friday Andrew took a half day of work and we headed out to Honey Hill Orchards to pick apples and pumpkins. We have never been there before but have heard really good things about this place from my SIL. Last year our pumpkin picking location was not the greatest (See Oct 07's postings) we decided to try this place out. They have some animals to check out, and we did but Emma didn't dig them too much and there were quite a few bugs and flies everywhere. Then we headed out to pick apples, which I've never done. It was a lot of fun! Emma kept calling the apples "balls" and would pick them up off the ground. She even started eating one out in the field and did a pretty good job on it. After we got our apples we headed out to the pumpkin fields. They had a lot of really nice pumpkins and we got one for each member of our family, including Frank. Checking out the farm animals Tractor ride out to the fields Daddy and Emma picking apples off the tree Emma picking out her "balls" Eating an apple on the way to pick out pumpkins

Finishing the evening off with a nice cold beer.....ahhhhh, refreshing!

Loved the pics! Mommy is so fashion coordinated by dressing you in an orange shirt for pumpkin hunting. Last years hunting WAS low rent but Emma was soooo cute!
