With some of my Christmas money I decided I wanted to buy a ring sling for myself and Emma. I'm really having a lot of fun trying all the different positions I can put Emma in. I got to use it a lot this last week when we went to the Chicago boat show and then to Florida. I'm still getting used to the sling but everyday I learn something new about it. Coincidentally one of the moms from my play group decided to have a baby-wearing get-together and I got to learn more about how to use my sling and also more about other baby-wearing products that are out there.

Guitar Hero

Andrew got the Guitar Hero game for Christmas for his Playstation and I must admit it's pretty fun. I'm not much for video games but this one has me hook, line and sinker. Anywho, the other weekend we had Graham and Kristy over for dinner and got them hooked too!

Itty Bitty Teeny Tiny

Emma went for her 4 month appointment today and is healthy as can be. She is weighing in at a hefty 10lbs 2.6oz and is 21 inches long. She is only in the 1st percentile for her weight and 15th for length. I love having such a tiny baby! She's sooo adorable. She also got another round of shots today and did much better with them this time than last. She cried a little bit but not as much as her 2 month shots and she didn't seem as uncomfortable this time either. However, I have had her loaded up on tylenol all day so that might have helped too.

Emma is really starting to laugh a lot and is always talking. It's so much fun to put her on her mat and watch her play with her toys and talk to them. She's also about ready to roll over. She's about 90% of the way there, but her pesky arm keeps getting in the way!
