Over the weekend Andrew and I stopped into a furniture store that we had been looking at and they were having a pretty good sale. We had decided some time ago that we wanted a sectional couch for the family room and we had picked out a living room set earlier at this store too. Needless to say we went in and took a look around and fell in love with a dining room set that was on clearance. We had also decided that the sectional at this store was what we wanted too. I had given up my dreams of the $4000.00 sectional from Crate and Barrel :( So in a matter of minutes we had most of our furniture picked out. After some deliberation we decided the living room furniture we originally liked wouldn't really go with the dining room furniture. The living room stuff was too contemporary. So we started over and immediately found a couch and chair we liked. The dining room set included chairs, table and china hutch and I wanted to order the matching server. We begged off to go home and do some measuring to make sure everything would fit and to think over this massive purchase. Once home we got out the tape measure and found out that the dining room server would not fit into the niche we have in the dining room. Alright, back to the drawing board. We both decided to 86 the server and put in the niche a butler's pantry like thing with cabinets and a counter top. Problem solved! The next day we went back and purchased the dining room set, living room set and family room couch. Hurray! Now we have some furniture for this house!

The drywall installation has been completed. The interior walls are being painted tomorrow and our hardwood flooring is being delivered tomorrow as well. The septic system has been completely installed. I believe Andrew told me the siding will be installed at the end of this week or next. I can't remember. We are moving right along!
