Emma's 2 1/2 yr pictures

I took Emma for her 2 1/2 yr check up with the doctor a couple weeks ago and she is doing great.  She weighs 24 1/2 lbs and is  34 1/2 inches tall.  She is finially the 5th percentile for weight (although just barely) and is hanging out right around the 10th percentile for height.  Emma loves going outside and play with daddy or really anyone.  She enjoys playing with her babies and takes them to "high school" which means she goes and plays on the bottom steps of the stairs.  Recently Emma has started making up songs for just about everything she does.  Most of the time I have no idea what she is saying when she's singing the songs, but they are just too cute.  Emma's vocabulary is pretty extensive and she speaks clearly and in complete sentences; which makes it very nice and easy to understand her.  Emma really likes to dance and sing songs and her favorite "artist" is Barney and she asks for us to turn on Barney whenever we get in the car.  Emma and I have been going to bounce time at the library on Friday's for the last few months.  She really enjoys singing the songs there and reading books.  Speaking of books, Emma loves books and has quite a few memorized since we read them so much.  Some of her favorite books are about firefighing, the library and of course Barney books.
