Christmas Eve 2010

Our Christmas Eve tradition includes going to an "expensive" movie and then to The Melting Pot.  This is the first year that Emma has been old enough to do both.  Emma also got to go and see her first movie in a movie theatre.  We saw Tangled and it was very cute.  Emma did pretty well watching the movie.  She was a little bit restless a few different times, but overall it was a success.  She REALLY liked the popcorn and ate about half her weight in popcorn.  After the movie we headed over to The Melting Pot for fondue.  As always it was amazing!  Emma did great at the restaurant.  It's not very child friendly so I was a little concerned about that, so we brought some extra crayons and coloring books and she was very content.  The food was great and since Emma didn't eat much of anything, that meant that we got to order whatever we wanted.

After the movie and dinner we came home put together Santa's treat plate, Emma wanted to give him water again this year.  She also had Andrew write a note for Santa.  It was very cute and she signed her name herself.  We read The Night Before Christmas and then it was off to bed.  What a great night!
